Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes Writers Set For Jurassic Park 4

The writers behind RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will soon be tackling the ever gestating JURASSIC PARK 4. The first JURASSIC PARK (1993) was released nearly 20 years ago. Yes! You are that old. Universal Pictures have hired Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver to write the fourth instalment, with Steven Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy producing. A director is yet to be attached to the project.

JURASSIC PARK will celebrate its 20 year anniversary next year with a 3D release. This is good for the planned fourth film, as hopefully it will wash away the taste of JURASSIC PARK III (2001) and restore our faith in the franchise. I think there is still a lot of potential for this franchise, but now I’ve got my hopes up that JURASSIC PARK 4 will focus on dinosaurs overthrowing their human oppressors. Imagine the RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES bridge scene with Velociraptors, now you’ve got yourself a movie.

JURASSIC PARK 3D is aiming for a 19th July 2013 release date. JURASSIC PARK 4 is currenlt in pre-production, but has been for a decade.
