The Full Trailer For Dredd!

As promised yesterday, here’s the first trailer for Peter Travis’ DREDD, the new big-screen version of 200o AD’s favourite son.

Mega-City One is in ruins, addicted to a drug called Slo-Mo which is produced by saucy villainess Ma-Ma (Lena Headey). It’s of course up to the Hall of Justice, and it’s numero uno enforcer, Judge Dredd, to clean the city up. From this trailer it looks like Dredd will find himself locked down in a building full of bad guys, with a rookie judge in tow.

The 1995 Stallone version of Judge Dredd has left a very bitter taste in the mouth, and many fans have been cautious of this new version. But let’s all chill out – it was nearly 20-years ago, and this new trailer actually looks pretty darn cool.It also promises to offer up an alternative comic adaptation to those currently tearing up the box office.
