First Poster For Financial Thriller ‘Arbitrage’

With the world teetering on the brink of a disaster brought about by crooked banks and fraud schemes, a good thriller about those (ir)responsible is always good for a laugh, as most of us sit penniless! Now this latest financial thriller, ARBITRAGE, which THN first brought you the trailer earlier today, also has a first poster.

Richard Gere plays corporate hedge fund magnate Robert Miller, who is determined to sell his trading empire before some of his secrets are unearthed. Joining Gere on the film is Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon as his betrayed wife Ellen and Brit Marling as his suspicious business partner and daughter Brooke. Tim Roth also pops up in the role of Detective Bryer, when things become increasingly more desperate for Miller. ARBITRAGE is written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki and will be released later this year.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
