ALL BY MY SIDE the forthcoming biopic of Jimi Hendrix got some tough news recently with the revelation they would not be allowed to use any Hendrix songs; not to be deterred Writer/Director John Ridley (COLD AROUND THE HEART) has changed the setting of the movie to London 1966-67 before Hendrix debut album was released and instead of Fire, Foxy Lady et al. we get covers of The Beatles and Elmore James. I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking this has all become a bit of a pointless exercise but hey they’re making it now and have even release a few set pics which you can see below:
