Devastating Duo Of Posters For The Impossible

THE IMPOSSIBLE is a disaster film that centres on a real-life family that found themselves amongst the mayhem of one of the most catastrophic events in history. The tsunami that stuck on Boxing Day 2004 in and around the Indian Ocean, was caused by an underwater earthquake and with it, devastated many lives. The total dead is still unknown but is somewhere between 230.000 and 280.000

Director of the brilliant Spanish chiller THE ORPHANAGE, Juan Antonio Bayona brings together Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor to realise the horrifying and heartbreaking events on the big-screen. Early word on the film is said to be incredible, with performances and visual-effects, said to be Oscar-worthy. THN has a couple of Spanish posters from the film due here in the UK on the 4th January 2013.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
