Known for his take on the classic period love story, Joe Wright (PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, ATONEMENT) may have his hands full with his adaptation of ANNA KARENINA. However, it doesn’t look like he’ll disappoint from the look of this poster, as it’s as stunning as the trailer.
Keira Knightley stars as the title character, Anna Karenina, a young lady who marries into wealth. However, when she is tempted away by a younger and more exciting lover, Karenina learns the full price for her deceit and lies. Adapted from the novel written by Leo Tolstoy, Wright is bringing the story to life with epic romance, deep colours and masses of emotion.
ANNA KARENINA, directed by Joe Wright and co-starring Jude Law, Aaron Johnson and Matthew Macfadyen, is due for release from 7th September 2012.
