Director John Hillcoat’s depression-era thriller LAWLESS has already been given a four-star review here at THN, ahead its 7th September release. Based on Matt Bondurant’s period novel ‘The Wettest County In the World’, the fact-based tale sees petty criminals, the Bondurant brothers (played by Shia LaBeouf, Jason Clarke and Tom Hardy), cross paths with ruthless underworld figures and corrupt law enforcers, each wanting their own piece of the prohibition pie.
