Incredible New Trailer For The Entire Dark Knight Trilogy

Tomorrow sees the release of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (had you noticed?) and it’s hard to imagine being more excited. Well, prepare to be but first up, we’ve got a rather clever trailer for the entire Dark Knight trilogy.

This trailer seamlessly weaves the imagery, cast, dialogue, themes and character arcs from BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, sewn together perfectly with the already legendary score by Hans Zimmer. It tells the story of Bruce Wayne and all of the lives he touches, although it could have featured more Rachel Dawes, as she is an integral part of his journey. But apart from that, its flawless. Check the significance of the well, note the rogues gallery of villains, these will all come full circle in the final chapter.

In years to come, people will look back at Christopher Nolan’s extraordinary Batman films in the same light as the original STAR WARS trilogy. Three separate movies which you could watch in a single sitting and it would absolutely work as one arse-numbing but thrilling cinematic experience. Here is the trailer for that experience.

It’s a cliche to say this now, but this will be the last time. And here we… go.
