THE MASTER, Paul Thomas Anderson’s first film since his critically adored THERE WILL BE BLOOD (2007), has a new teaser poster. The poster seems to reflect the label on a bottle of wine, which plays into Joaquin Phoenix’s character being an alcoholic. The film is set in the 1950s and examines the relationship between Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman’s seductive intellectual known as ‘The Master’, a man who starts his own religion.
THE MASTER is released 9th November 2012. It stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams.
