Trailer For ‘Drew: The Man Behind The Poster’ Released

I’m going to start this post off with an apology for the hideous amount of gushing and flattery that I’m going to cram into the next 100 words or so; the reason for my apology is a man named Drew Struzan: The greatest poster artist there will ever be. Struzan has worked on some of the biggest movies in history: THE INDIANA JONES FILMS, STAR WARS FILMS and E.T to name a handful. His work is iconic and extraordinary, he has an ability like no other to encapsulate a film perfectly in a one shot. Don’t believe me take a look at the BACK TO THE FUTURE poster with Michael J Fox stood beside the Delorean looking at his watch flames scorching the tread of the cars tires, it is magical there is no other term. I love Drew Struzan for all the iconic imagery he has given to my life.

DREW: THE MAN BEHIND THE POSTER does not currently have a release date in the US or UK but fingers crossed this artist will have his moment and the documentary will see the light of day.
