The first poster for LIFE OF PI has just been released. I’m a bit disappointed to be honest, as it is just a different variant on a still that could already be seen on the website. Regardless, this means things are hotting up for this adaptation of the international bestseller. Can we please see the rest of the animal outcasts soon?
LIFE OF PI is based on the book by Yann Martel. Ang Lee is in the director’s chair and this will be his first foray into 3D film. I’m interested in this not just because of my love for the book, but also because it is the first 3D film that could be mostly characterised as a drama, rather than the usual genres served by the technique.
LIFE OF PI is to be released in cinemas 21st December 2012. It stars Tobey Maguire, Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, and Gérard Depardieu.
