Make sure to mark down 5th October in your diary as Liam Neeson’s return as brutal bad-ass Bryan Mills in TAKEN 2. The original 2008 B-movie action effort saw Neeson’s heroic father come to the aid of spoilt brat daughter Maggie Grace, who after travelling to France with a friend falls foul to a sex-slave kidnapping ring. Dad was soon on route though, to dish out his own brand of vengeance as he tracks his daughter down. It’s preposterous but down right fun, so us here at THN HQ are hoping for more of the same with Oliver Megaton’s sequel.
Now we are able to bring you the latest poster for the follow-up that will see Mills as the target while working security in Istanbul. He is in for a bumpy ride as the father of one of his previous ‘victims’ seeks revenge. Torture – and inevitable death – lay ahead for him unless he’s able to unleash those ‘particular set of skills’.
