It seems that whenever a young actress has a huge success, she has a horror film waiting in the wings. Here’s a new UK poster and trailer for Jennifer Lawrence’s horror HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET. The release date was pushed back from February to September 2012. You don’t think they did this on purpose to capitalise on her guaranteed success in THE HUNGER GAMES do you?
HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET sees Lawrence and family move into a new home and they discover that the aforementioned house was the site of a grisly murder. Soon some paranormal stuff starts going on. The new UK quad champions ‘an awesome twist’, which is a huge mistake as it has me guessing what the twist may be just from watching the trailer. I’m putting money on Jennifer Lawrence being the child that murdered her family. Anybody else care to hazard a guess?
HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET is released in September. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Elisabeth Shue, Max Thieriot, and Nolan Gerard Funk.
