I had seen every Tim Burton Film since MARS ATTACKS (1996) at the cinema. That all changed with DARK SHADOWS, a film I am yet to see. I’d just about lost faith in Burton. Luckily he is returning to familiar territory with a remake of his classic short FRANKENWEENIE, and we have nine, that’s right NINE, new character posters to show you. Not only that, but we also have five new character banners to join the previously released eight, which you can view by clicking here.
I was very lucky to visit the Tim Burton exhibition in France earlier this year, and I got to see some of Burton’s original sketches for all his films. The man is an artistic genius and I believe animation suits him perfectly. Hopefully my faith will be restored.
FRANKENWEENIE is directed by Tim Burton and stars Charlie Tahan, Winona Ryder, Christopher Lee, Martin Short, Martin Landau, and Catherine O’Hara. It will be released on 17th October 2012.
