Because these days, with the internet being a rather popular tool, we now have teasers to promote the release of trailers. With me so far? PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 has just had a 13 second preview released by Paramount. This is to get you ready for the first trailer which will be released on 1st August. So if you are unable to wait for two long and excruciating days, hopefully this will restore some of your sanity. It doesn’t show a lot, but is obviously playing back into the first film.
PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 will be released 19th Ocotober 2012.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.

That first film, watching it alone in an empty house in the dark, genuinely freaked me out but now…seriously, four?!

I’ve found these films are actually getting better and scarier. I liked the first film, but hated the characters, so I was cheering on the demon most of the time. In the second one I liked the characters, and seeing it on the big screen gave me some massive jump scares. The third really had some fantastic scares. I’m always pessimistic about the Paranormal Activity films, but I find they deliver what they promise.

Fair call, sir!
I always think they’ve got nothing to lose as well, budget wise, I shall reserve full judgement until it’s actually here. 🙂
