Brand New TV Spots For ParaNorman And Wreck-It Ralph

Since the BBC are hosting the London 2012 Olympic Games -and are one of the few channels that don’t show advertisements – us English folk are missing out on some top Olympic-related TV spots. Thanks to the Internet, we’ve managed to get our (virtual) hands on three brand new clips promoting WRECK-IT RALPH and PARANORMAN, both due out over the coming months.

WRECK-IT RALPH stars John C. Reilly as the voice of Ralph, a video-game bad guy who is sick of always losing to the hero, Fix-It Felix. In a quest to find something new, Ralph starts to jump from game to game to try and find his ‘real calling’. However, due to his jumping, he unwittingly releases a virus which threatens to close down the whole arcade. Can Ralph save the day and become a hero? Reilly stars alongside Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer and Sarah Silverman in this upcoming Walt Disney Animations Studio hit.

Meanwhile, in the Sam Fell-directed PARANORMAN, Norman Babcock is the local misfit kid. But when his town becomes overrun with rotting zombies, ghosts and ghouls, Norman is the only person who can save them. Why? Because he can speak to the dead. Starring the voices of Kodi Smit-McPhee, Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck and John Goodman, this will be a hit with kids and adults alike.

The TV spots below give us a quick look at what’s to come, but also show off both features’ talents of creating laughs. Enjoy!

WRECK-IT RALPH is due for a UK release from 15th February 2013. PARANORMAN will be out in cinemas from 14th September 2012.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
