A terrific character actor who can seamlessly slip from villainous roles like DIE HARD 2’s villain into a lovable rogue in THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, tonight, William Sadler has tweeted his awesome new character poster for MACHETE KILLS. This one arrives hot on the heels of the poster that featured new star Lady Gaga and also that hot first look at former Spy Kid Alexa Vega.
MACHETE KILLS has completed shooting with Danny Trejo returning as the ex-federal, who this time must stop Mel Gibson’s mad man, his character obviously, not our Mel, although he also has a penchant for going a little crazy sometimes. Joining the aforementioned bunch of bandits will be Amber Heard, Jessica Alba, Vanessa Hudgens, Charlie Sheen, Michelle Rodriguez, Edward James Olmos and Cuba Gooding Jr.
MACHETE KILLS sees Robert Rodriguez back behind the camera for his sequel to the 2009 original exploitation hit, and is set to hit cinemas next year.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
