Mainly known for THE OFFICE: AN AMERICAN WORKPLACE, B.J. Novak has signed up to play one half of song-writing siblings the Sherman brothers whose greatest work included MARY POPPINS the focus of SAVING MR BANKS. With Tom Hanks, Colin Farrell and Emma Thompson also signed up, along with Director John Lee Hancock (THE BLIND SIDE) Disney look to have struck gold again.
How does this film look to you? Does it need a spring clean or is the MARY POPPINS making of a story you want to see? As always, we’ll have more news as it’s released.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
