Jennifer Lawrence Wont Be Going Hungry: In Talks For ‘The Ends Of The Earth’ And Huge ‘Catching Fire’ Pay Rise

Jennifer Lawrence is certainly proving herself when it comes to juggling multiple roles. She’s already at the head of THE HUNGER GAMES franchise and plays a crucial role in X-MEN:FIRST CLASS as Mystique, a role she is also set to reprise. This hasn’t stopped her from picking up some interesting smaller roles. One which sounds to be most challenging is the role she is currently in talks for THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. A period drama based on true events, THE ENDS OF THE EARTH will see an oil tycoon having an adoption annulled so he can marry his adopted daughter (Lawrence). No word yet on if Woody Allen is set to direct.

In other news Miss Lawrence is set for a gigantic pay rise to return as Katniss in THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE. Lawrence may have only been paid $500,000 for the first film, but she certainly knew what she was getting into. It is reported that she will receive $10 million for the sequel. Who can blame her? This franchise is bound to make a lot of people rich and Lawrence deserves to be one of them. Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth are also renegotiating their contracts.

THE ENDS OF THE EARTH has no release date scheduled as of yet. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will be in theatres 22nd November 2013.
