Another Confirmed Cast Member For ‘Kick-Ass 2’

It was only yesterday that we gave you a look at the brand new (but rather mysterious) banner for KICK-ASS 2: BALLS TO THE WALL. Well, now we can confirm another past cast member is returning for the sequel: Yancy Butler, who played Chis D’Amico/Red Mist’s (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) mother.

Butler (who featured as Angie D’Amico) will be reuniting with Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz and Mintz-Plasse, as well as joining newbies John Leguizamo and Donald Faison. And although Matthew Vaughn (KICK-ASS Part 1’s director) is not taking the reigns for Part 2, he is writing the script – so expect an excessive amount of expletives!

Directed by Jeff Wadlow (CRY WOLF, NEVER BACK DOWN), KICK-ASS 2: BALLS TO THE WALL is due for a Christmas 2013 release.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
