(s)No(w) White, But There Is A Huntsman: Stewart Out Of Sequel

The world of gossip exploded last month as a young romance of royal proportions came crashing to an end. We aren’t the sorts to fan the flames here at THN but this story sort of requires us to make mention of certain…events. As you all know, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson ended their relationship after she was caught cheating on him with the married director of SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, Rupert Sanders. Well, Universal have decided to go ahead with their planned sequel to the fairy tale vision, but without Stewart. The film will be more of a spin-off centred around Chris Hemsworth’s Hunstman.

Screenwriter David Koepp is also being replaced and there is no word yet as to whether or not Sanders will return. It’s clear that Universal are making some changes due to the recent bad press surrounding Stewart, but a Hemsworth has reportedly signed on for a Snow White sequel AND a Huntsman spin-off, so it seems we’re just going to do a bit downsizing for this franchise.

So how will the spin-off go? Perhaps we’ll see the huntsman enter different fairy tales and stories. Maybe it will be Little Red Riding Hood And The Huntsman, or Cinderella.
