Bradley Cooper seems to be on a roll recently, with THE WORDS, HIT AND RUN, THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK and THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES all currently either in production or post-production. Add in filming for THE HANGOVER 3 and Cooper is a very busy boy. It doesn’t seem as if he’ll be slowing down any time soon, as news has surfaced that he is in talks to star in crime thriller BAD BLOOD AND TROUBLE.
If Bradley was too take on this new role, he would feature as a 1950s Miami detective who falls in love with a friendly housewife. Only trouble is…she’s married – and her husband has been targeted by mobsters. Cooper’s character will most likely be trying to save the husband while sneakily seducing the wife.
This role sounds like something that would suit the likes of Ryan Gosling, so – if he takes it – it’ll be interesting to see Cooper’s spin on things.
BAD BLOOD AND TROUBLE is to be directed by J Blakeson (THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED, writer of THE DESCENT: PART 2).
