Here’s a peek at Dwayne Johnson and Gina Carano behind the scenes of FAST & FURIOUS 6.
Both Johnson and Carano are by far the most successful Hollywood breakout stars of their fields; pro-wrestling and MMA respectively. Johnson, or The Rock as his devoted rasslin’ fanbase will always know him, is reprising his role from FAST 5, that of Agent Luke Hobbs. Gina Carano, whose breakthrough performance came in Steven Soderbergh’s HAYWIRE, will be playing his partner, as yet unnamed.

Which is rather sweet.
FAST 6 (or Faster/Furiouserser as it will hopefully be called) is directed by Justin Lin, who has helmed each feature since TOKYO DRIFT. As well Johnson and Carano, it stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster and Tyrese Gibson who are all reprising their roles from the franchise. It will be released amongst the screeching of tyres and ‘Blat-Blat-ing’ of thirteen year old boys in May, 2013.
