I guess you wouldn’t be here unless you wanted new information for the upcoming season of HOMELAND and although this could be slightly spoiler-ish, you know, it’s not excessively. The trailer doesn’t even have any dialogue, just a haunting choir singing ‘I’ll Be Watching You’, which I normally hate but it really works this time. There’s lots of distressed looking souls, appearance changes for Carrie (Claire Danes), Brody (Damian Lewis) washing blood off himself at a car wash – indeed – and surely so many unforeseen plot twists waiting to explode onto the small screen.
I personally can’t wait for the second season of HOMELAND, the first is one of the strongest and most original in recent times with an incredibly impressive cast. We’re all really hoping this picks up from where it left on and encapsulates as much as that first season did. There has been a few teasers around recently but this is the first proper idea of what to expect, take a look:
HOMELAND returns to the US on September 30th and will show on Channel 4 in the UK, we’re currently waiting for them to confirm a definite date. Scroll down for new posters and a still of a different looking Carrie for the US release:
