Vampire Comic ‘Bloodstrike’ To Be Adapted To Screen

Vampire comic BLOODSTRIKE has just had its rights bought up by 1984 Private Defense Contractors, the same company that recently announced an all female version of THE EXPENDABLES (see here). BLOODSTRIKE focuses on a team of super-soldiers enhanced with vampire blood. Created by Rob Liefield and published by Image Comics, 1984 Private Defense Contractors are looking at this as a possible franchise.

I’m not familiar with the comic and judging by the pictures I have seen of the protagonist he looks very much like Deadpool or Grifter, but then again, every other character from the 1990s looks like that. We’ve already seen enough comic heroes and vampires to last us a hundred lifetimes so I hope this will bring something new to those genres.
