After seeing the recent official still from Steven Spielberg’s sure-to-be-epic biopic LINCOLN, I put this at the top of my list as one of the must see movies this year. Daniel Day-Lewis appears to have inhabited the iconic mug and figure of honest Abe, just as he does with most his roles. With an all-star cast that includes Sally Field, John Hawkes, Walton Goggins, David Strathairn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader, Hal Holbrook and Tommy Lee Jones, Speilberg could just be on his way to another Oscar sweep. LINCON is based on the novel Team Of Rivals by Doris Kearns Goodwin and will be hitting UK cinemas 25th January, with the US getting it a whole lot sooner with an November release.
