DREDD 3D is one upcoming effort that many of us here at THN towers are eager to see. Hoping to wipe any memory of Danny Cannon’s Stallone shitfest from 1995, VANTAGE POINT director Pete Travis and writer Alex Garland have teamed-up to bring us a very violent and exciting take on the ruthless 2000AD comic-book character. Karl Urban will don the shiny helmet this time around as he attempts to clean the scum-filled streets of Mega City One. Ma-Ma Madrigal (Lena Headey) is the drug kingpin who Dredd and his fellow Judges must put out of business.
This latest featurette centres on the Slo-Mo drug craze that’s sweeping the city. Travis has definitely made the most of the technology available, as the 3D and special effects are rather eye-popping! DREDD 3D will be unleashed in cinemas from 9th September.
