Intense Trailer For Aussie Revenger ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’

Over the last several years, the Aussie film industry has given us a number of dark, intense, and unsettling thrillers – films that live long in the memory, well after you’ve chewed your fingernails off in the cinema. This was perhaps started by Greg McClean’s take on infamous serial-killer Ivan Milat with the beautiful-looking but brutal WOLF CREEK. The seedy, sleazy side of the country has also been explored in the likes of unmissable efforts ANIMAL KINGDOM, THE SQUARE, THE HORSEMAN and SNOWTOWN. All of which brings us to the latest ferocious and unflinching film DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL.

Written and directed by Chris Sun, DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL has a plot that sees every parent’s worst nightmare realised. When someone close to Derek (Michael Thompson) breaks his trust, his daughter Georgia is murdered, forcing him to dish out his own form of justice. Apparently a strong stomach is a must, as word is there’s a realistic 40-minute torture sequence that will test your viewing limits. The film is expected next year providing it passes the censors. Check out this first trailer.
