Josh Holloway has joined the ever expanding cast of next years action feature BREACHER. Directed by David Ayer who was responsible for the likes of TRAINING DAY (2001) and the upcoming END OF WATCH, BREACHER will see a group of DEA agents hunted down one-by-one after they cross a dangerous drug cartel. Led by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sam Worthington, the cast has been expanding rapidly over the last couple of weeks and has undergone a title change from TEN to BREACHER. Holloway will reportedly be playing the medic of Schwarzenegger’s DEA team.
I’m still on a THE EXPENDABLES 2 high at the moment, so give me anything Schwarzenegger. Despite minimal screentime, Holloway did a great job in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL so I’m eager to see him in a larger action role, but considering this film sees a team of 10 assassinated one-by-one, he may not last very long. Especially if he’s playing the medic, that would be the first member of a team I would kill to be sure they couldn’t help the rest.
