While the original film SILENT HILL had enough creepy imagery and visuals, I have to admit its plot was rather perplexing to someone like me. I’m no fan of videogames and the most of the movies spawned by them come across as stretching a simple idea to breaking point. Whether SILENT HILL was faithful to the source, I’ll leave that to you fans. In the meantime Michael J. Bassett has directed the follow-up sequel SILENT HILL: REVELATION 3D, that will see some of the previous cast return to the terrifying town lost in the shadows.
We have the brand new poster for the film that’s expected in cinemas on the suitably scary date of 31st October. A pretty damn poor and unrealistic poster that attempts to hammer home the point(y) fact that the horror will be unleashed in 3D. Check it out below and let us know your thoughts.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
