Yesterday we gave you a look at the first full length trailer for LINCOLN. Today we bring you some stills, so you can gaze at them longingly for hours. These stills give us a look at some of the supporting cast including Tommy Lee Jones, Sally Field, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It looks as spectacular as you would imagine a Spielberg period biopic of an American president to look. The costumes and sets look like the particular stand outs of this production, not to mention the make-up.
Unfortunately, this follows fresh on the heels of previous biopic, ABRAHAM LINCOLN VAMPIRE HUNTER. However that’s not a complete death sentence, as word on the street is that this film will only briefly touch on that portion of the president’s life. Personally I hope it covers the scene where Lincoln takes Medusa’s head.
LINCOLN hits the UK on the 25th January. It stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Hal Holbrook, David Oyelowo, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader, John Hawkes, Michael Stuhlbarg, David Strathairn, Walton Goggins, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill, Jackie Earle Haley, Lee Pace and Jared Harris.
