Check Out The First ‘Robocop’ Teaser Poster Featuring More Of The New Suit

Everyone has been getting a little bit emotional over that early look at the ROBOCOP suit that appeared over the weekend, from next year’s planned remake. What we have to remember is that we’re a year away from the film from being released, and the bods at Sony may have all kinds of digital trickery planned for post-production. Right? Well… no, judging from this this promo teaser poster, released from the guys over at Cine 1. It seems that yes, the suit is going to be a rubber, black graphite number after all, and this promo looks like a crotch shot of it.

In “RoboCop,” the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, and Jay Baruchel star. Jose Padiha directs.
