First Footage Of Park Chan Wook’s ‘Stoker’ With Nicole Kidman

Here’s a fantastic look at the first English language film from directing genius Park Chan Wook. The film is called STOKER and sees a bizarre relationship blossom between Matthew Goode and mother and daughter duo Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska. Park’s visual flair is immediately present in this footage, from the colours and the lighting to the shot composition. There’s something unsettling about every look, every line of dialogue, and it is obviously going to be a grand tension builder. Park is responsible for the classic OLDBOY which is currently being remade by Spike Lee. In fact, all of Park’s films are worth a visit or ten each. STOKER marks Park’s English language debut along with fellow Korean master Kim Jee Woon, who will also be storming the English language market with THE LAST STAND starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

STOKER is released 1st March 2013. It stars Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska, Dermot Mulroney, Matthew Goode, Lucas Till, Jacki Weaver, and Alden Ehrenreich.
