First Trailer & Banner For Gore-some Sequel ‘The Collection’

A few weeks ago, we brought you the rather graphic first poster for Marcus Dunstan’s serial-killer thriller THE COLLECTION. The film, directed by Dunstan and c0-written by his SAW-sequel regular Patrick Melton, is the follow-up to the duo’s enjoyably gory low-budget horror THE COLLECTOR.

The original, headlined by Josh Stewart, featured the rising actor as a down-on-his-luck thief who picks the wrong night to rob the home of a family who are now in a sadistic game with the titular masked psychopath. Despite not setting the world alight with a massive haul at the box-office, the ghoulish horror has its fans (including me) and obviously made enough to warrant a sequel, which we can unveil the new trailer and banner below.

THE COLLECTION is still awaiting a release date here in the UK, but is slated for cinemas in the US for the 30th November. Christopher McDonald, Erin Way, Daniel Sharman, Lee Tergesen and Johanna Braddy, co-star alongside the returning Stewart.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
