The Coen Brothers ‘Gambit’ Trailer Is Finally Here!

The Coen brothers were inspired by the 1966 GAMBIT film with Michael Caine when writing the new screenplay for GAMBIT and the brothers then handed over the directing responsibility to Michael Hoffman of THE LAST STATION fame. In the new GAMBIT, Colin Firth stars as an art dealer wanting to get his own back on an unbearable boss played by Alan Rickman, by tricking him into buying a fake Monet. I don’t quite understand why he needs the help of sexy southern cowgirl played by Cameron Diaz to pull off the scam, but he does – so just play along. To my delight there’s also an outrageous Stanley Tucci with a poor british accent in the film, and far too many people over the age of 40 are walking around without their trousers on. Check out the trailer and let us know if there are enough Hollywood legends to tickle your fancy.

GAMBIT is set to be released on the 21st of November.

Isra has probably seen one too many movies and has serious issues with differentiating between reality and film - which is why her phone number starts with 555. She tries to be intellectual and claims to enjoy German and Swedish film, but in reality anything with a pretty boy in it will suffice.
