Check out this ace new poster for THE HOBBIT, bringing together various elements from what promises to be an action-packed movie trilogy.
As if anyone didn’t already know, THE HOBBIT marks Peter Jackson’s return to Tolkien’s Middle-earth, a decade after his beloved THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. This time around, the younger Bilbo Baggins will head off on adventure with thirteen dwarves – including the warrior Thorin Oakenshield – as they try to reclaim the Kingdom of Erebor from the dragon Smaug. The movies (yes, another three of the buggers) will feature plenty of all-new Middle-earth action, as well as some familiar faces (a certain Gollum and his One Ring to Rule Them All…).
THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY stars Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Andy Serkis, Stephen Fry, Hugo Weaving, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ian McKellen, Ian Holm, Cate Blanchett, Sylvester McCoy, and Christopher Lee.
