It’s not the (admittedly awesome) animation that makes Pixar so brilliant, but the depth its gives to its characters and stories. And here’s another example – a viral website for the upcoming MONSTERS UNIVERSITY.
The site (a very accurate parody real-life university website) details everything you need to know about the MONSTERS INC prequel, with lists of teachers we can expect to meet, campus rules and regulations, a calendar of student events, and even a store to purchase essential student items.
The film will see the earlier adventures of Mike Wazowski and Sulley, before they began their careers as professional scarers, and will likely see the gruesome twosome begin uni life as enemies only to become best (and beastly) friends.
The new website is actually very detailed, so visit here have a good look around – there’s bound to be a few potential plot details hidden away somewhere.

MONSTERS UNIVERSITY is directed by Dan Scanlon and stars John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi, and Jennifer Tilly. It arrives in cinemas July 2013.
