New York Comic-Con is currently underway in the US, showcasing a host of upcoming projects to whet film fans’ appetites and build some momentum for their release. One of those movies is Arnie’s return to the big-screen after his long hiatus while shagging maids and fathering illegitimate children… erm, sorry… being Governor of California. THE LAST STAND is the PREDATOR star’s first lead role since 2003’s TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES.
Schwarzenegger takes the role of small town sheriff Ray Owens who must prepare his inexperienced staff for the onslaught of chaos when a Mexican drug cartel bust one of their leaders out of prison and head for the border.
Zach Gilford, Forest Whitaker, Luis Guzman, Rodrigo Santoro, Johnny Knoxville, Jaimie Alexander, Eduardo Noriega, Peter Stormare, Harry Dean Stanton and Genesis Rodriguez co-star and Kim Jee-Woon directs.
