Where Can We Take ‘Taken 3’?

With the producers of TAKEN 2 already sitting comfortably on a hefty pile of cinemagoer’s well-earned dosh, it was a given that TAKEN 3 would get the green-light.  However, no official announcement regarding cast or plot has yet been released, so we here at THN thought ‘Hey, what the heck?  Let’s have a little brainstorm ourselves!’  Who should be taken?  Who should be the takers?  Here’s a little look at some of the wacky ideas we came up with:

1.    Kim’s Boyfriend gets Taken:

Oh, Jamie. Bryan Mills does not like you touching his daughter. Not one bit. But hey, he’s gotta deal with it. But what if revenge hungry foreigners took Jamie in a bid to ‘send a message’ to the Mills family? What if Kim begged her over-protective father to go get him back, by any means necessary? What if he became a three-dimensional character with an actual role in the plot? Actually, if anyone was going to ‘take’ and torture Kim’s Boyfriend, it would probably be Bryan! OK, scratch that one.

2.    Bryan’s Mates get Taken:

Bryan’s BBQ buddies (Sam, Casey, and Bernie) get taken. Bryan finds them. They steal guns. Cue a 20-minute, blood-soaked shoot-out with Liam Neeson kicking ass alongside ER’s Dr. Lucien Dubenko and Uncle Rico from NAPOLEON DYNAMITE!

3.    The Taxi Drivers take revenge:

I counted at least two Istanbul taxi drivers getting f****d over in TAKEN 2 by both Bryan and Kim Mills. Now if I were them, I’d organize myself and my fellow taxi cab drivers and set out on a campaign of terror and revenge against the Mill’s family!  Film tagline: Either way, they will pay!!

4.    Kim gets Taken.  Again…

…and she fights her own way out. Who wouldn’t want to see the very beautiful Maggie Grace taking a guys head and snapping it with her bare hands? Bryan arrives to find everyone laying in pools of blood, and Kim standing triumphant with a smoking gun. The baton is passed…!

5.    Grandma Mills gets Taken:

Bryan’s mother is taken by vengeance seeking kidnappers, who want revenge but don’t want to be looked upon as kidnapper copycats!  Bryan finds her in a foreign land, gives her a gun, and she (alongside her darling little Bryan) shoots the f**k out of ‘em. Betty White plays Grandma Mills. Get that image out of your head! Yeah, you can’t can you?  Neither can I.

Taken 2 is in Cinemas nationwide now.

From an early age, Matt Dennis dreamt of one day becoming a Power Ranger. Having achieved that dream back in the noughties, he’s now turned his hand to journalism and broadcasting. Matt can often be found in front of a TV screen, watching his current favourite shows such as DOCTOR WHO, GAME OF THRONES, SHERLOCK, DAREDEVIL, and THE WALKING DEAD, though he’s partial to a bit of vintage TV from yesteryear. Matt also co-presents the Geek Cubed podcast, which you can download from iTunes. It’s quite nice.

I have this creeping suspicion that her boyfriend is in some way related to Marco. Which will end in a HORRIBAD way, in which the “Don’t fuck with Liam Neeson” gets activated, and everybody dies.

How about Jamie being one of the foreigners son.
Bryan didn’t really get an answer from SAM about JAMIE’s background check. from TAKEN 2.

Im glad i am not the only one who thought about jamie as a possible son/ grandson of the foreigners. It appears that bryan relates his name with something at the end of the movie. So, if there is going to be a taken 3, i would think about the other sons trying to kill bryan, and jamie in a dilemma: family x love
