Jack Huston and Brit Marling have signed on to star in new movie POSTHUMOUS, Deadline have revealed today. The new drama comedy, which is written and will be directed by Lulu Wang, is about a struggling artist whose artwork skyrockets in value when he is mistakenly thought to have killed himself. Jack Huston, who is known for his role as Richard Harrow in HBO’s BOARDWALK EMPIRE, will play the artist while Brit Marling, who starred in ANOTHER EARTH, will play a reporter who begins to show Huston’s character the ‘true meaning’ of art.
The pair have got quite a busy year on their hands, with Huston recently wrapping NIGHT TRAIN TO LISBON alongside Jeremy Irons, while Marling is currently filming THE GREEN BLADE RISES. The filming date of POSTHUMOUS is currently unknown but we’ll bring you more news as it happens!
