Here is the first poster for zombie romance WARM BODIES. In WARM BODIES, Nicholas Hoult plays a zombie that falls in love with the girlfriend of one of his victims. It’s easy to judge any film that utters the word ‘zombies’ these days, which is why so many forms of media refuse to even use the term, instead opting for phrases such as ‘the undead’, ‘walkers’, or ‘those crazy moving corpses sent from the depths of hell’. WARM BODIES sounds like an interesting film, but a lot of pressure is on Hoult to give a stirring and relatable performance, with just his moans and groans.
Based on a book by Isaac Marion, WARM BODIES is directed by Jonathan Levine, the man behind ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE (2006), THE WACKNESS (2008), and 50/50. With a resume like that Levine should be more than competent when handling aspects of horror, comedy, and a difficult subject matter mixed with humour and heart.
WARM BODIES is set for release 8th February 2013. It stars Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Dave Franco, John Malkovich, Analeigh Tipton, and Rob Corddry.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.

I didn’t know they were making this into a film! Currently reading the book, but not too sure about Hoult’s casting…
