First Teaser For Tomorrow’s ‘Evil Dead’ Remake Trailer

After last weekend’s frankly ‘freaky and fucked-up’ first image from Fede Alvarez’ EVIL DEAD remake, anticipation for the film has now heightened big-style amongst many of us here at THN (and most possibly those of you out there). During the film’s Q & A and first look at the trailer of the film at New York Comic-Con, star Jane Levy (who plays protagonist Mia) seemed genuinely shocked and disturbed at the intense tone of what was her own first terrifying glimpse of any footage since wrapping the film only a matter of weeks ago. Producer and former Ash himself, Bruce Campbell, has also promised this new take on Sam Raimi’s iconic low-budget splatterfest will ramp up the fear rather than the fun, giving us an all-new horrific vision of a familiar genre favourite… Groovy!

Oh yes, that trailer will arrive tomorrow but in the meantime… here’s a gore-riously awesome teaser!

EVIL DEAD will possess cinemas 12th April 2013 and co-stars Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Elizabeth Blackmore and Lou Taylor Pucci.
