It looks like Cameron Crowe has finally gone back to his SAY ANYTHING and JERRY MAGUIRE style romances and has found the perfect leading man and woman for the parts. Crowe has both written and will be directing the film as a Sony pictures production. The lucky man to play the lead is looking to be Bradley Cooper, who has come a long way from playing the unattractive friend on ALIAS. His leading lady will be Emma Stone who after roles in AMAZING SPIDERMAN and GANGSTER SQUAD proves that there’s no stopping her any time soon. I’m trying to resist the urge to point out that SILVER LININGS BOOK co-star Jennifer Lawrence is a similar age to Emma Stone, and depsite the man looking mighty fine for his age, it doesn’t change the fact that there’s a good 13 year age gap. Let’s hope it serves the story somehow otherwise there’s gonna be a bunch of 25+ actresses worrying about their careers.
The yet to be titled film still doesn’t have a release date and Emma Stone is the only cast member to have been officially announced.
