Shawn Levy has been appointed to direct new comedy THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU. The film had been put on the shelves for a while, and Warner Bros has now finally figured out how to move forward with the film and are currently negotiating with Shawn Levy to take on the project. The project had previously both a director and a set cast, but after director Adam Shankman and actor Jason Bateman left, the film had to be re-evaluated.
THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU is based on the novel by Jonathan Tropper a non-religious family sit Shivah for 7 days upon the request of their dead father. Levy has recently directed TV-movies with his latest feature film being REAL STEEL. Let us know what you think, will this movie ever be made?
