A dysfunctional family comedy starring that nice man Tim Robbins? And the beautiful and sweet Michelle Pfeiffer? Never! And Chloe Moretz whose KICK ASS character spent her time… actually that makes sense, but Robbins and Pfeiffer?
MAN UNDER has certainly ‘manned up’ signing such prestigious names. The script, penned by Ann Cherkis, revolves around a family whose lives are turned upside down when the New York Museum of Modern Arts displays photos of them in an exhibit, making overnight celebrities of each one. The film will also have Robbins in the director’s chair so is already showing promise. After Moretz’s previous characters, including Hit Girl and Carrie, I’m sure this particular dysfunctional family will seem like the Waltons.
