I’m still yet to be convinced of the great Anthony Hopkins as rotund directing genius Alfred Hitchcock, but the footage and images we’ve seen thus far suggest a far more comic tone around the making of his seminal slasher classic PSYCHO. Still, I’ll certainly be checking out Sacha Gervasi’s biopic HITCHCOCK, if only for the superb cast assembled to bring all those real-life icons involved to life (and, lets be honest, Hopkins is always value for money)!
We have yet another cleverly designed promotional poster, along with a brilliant new international trailer, which show off Hopkins as the master of suspense.
HITCHCOCK co-stars the breathtaking talent of Jessica Biel, James D’Arcy, Scarlett Johansson, Ralph Macchio, Toni Collette, Helen Mirren and Danny Huston. It hits cinemas from 23rd November in the US and the 8th February 2013 in the UK.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
