New Patriotic TV Spot & Featurette For ‘Red Dawn’ Remake

Shot way, way back in 2009, even well before Chris Hemsworth was a twinkle in Odin’s (one) eye, this update of John Milius’ 80s action-classic RED DAWN was expected to be a sleeper hit as North Korean armies (replacing the Russians in the previous effort) lay siege on American soil. The success of Hemsworth in the Marvel universe amongst other things, as well as co-star Josh Hutcherson as a HUNGER GAMES hunk, suggests the financial woes inflicted on MGM and subsequent three year delay of release could now work in the films’ favour.

Only today did we bring you the latest poster and hot on the heels of that design comes an all-new expanded television spot and ‘Lady Wolverines’ featurette for the action-thriller directed by former stuntman Dan Bradley.

RED DAWN co-stars Isabel Lucas, Josh Peck, Adrianne Palicki and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and invades US cinemas on the 21st November, although we’re still awaiting a UK release.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
