Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper’s lavish, big-screen musical of legendary stage show LES MISERABLES is looking suitably epic from the footage and posters we’ve seen thus far. An all-star cast will recreate the story (and songs) of redemption based on Victor Hugo’s iconic novel, with the film marked as a genuine favourite to scoop many top honours in the upcoming award season.
Acclaimed and world-renowned photographer Annie Liebovitz was tasked with giving us her unique vision of the characters during the films production earlier this year for Vogue magazine and she certainly didn’t disappoint. We have the likes of Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter all dressed in their fantastic costumes against the backdrop of many beautiful landscapes and sets.
LES MISERABLES will arrive in the US on the festive date of the 25th December, while we here in the UK will see it debut on the 11th January 2013.
