The film is about to get its premiere deep down under, but here’s the very first clip from THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY from the folks at Syfy in the US (via Coming Soon).
I’m not the biggest fan of the source material or indeed any of Peter Jackson’s ‘Rings’ trilogy, but I appreciate that I am very much in the minority, but all the same, this clip left me a little underwhelmed. It’s basically Gandalf giving Bilbo a sword, which apparently ends up in the palms of Frodo a bit later on.
Anyway, have a look, and then get on over here to see the cast and crew arrive on the red carpet in Wellington. The film opens in the UK on 13th December, and the US and Canada on the 14th December.
