Back in October we brought you the first, official trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming project THE CROODS and, after the first trailer attempt, they seem to have released something quite spectacular the second time around.
Starring Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Cloris Leachman and Clark Duke, THE CROODS focuses on a family of cave-people who dare not leave their tiny home. However, when an earthquake hits their ‘neighbourhood’, Grug (Cage) must lead his family to safety and, in turn, rid himself of his fear.
This second trailer gives us a much better look at the characters, including the awkward relationship between Grug and his mother-in-law Gran (Leachman). It also shows off the spectacular scenery and attention-to-detail which DreamWorks are known for.
THE CROODS, directed by Kirk DeMicco (SPACE CHIMPS) and Chris Sanders (HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON), will hit UK and US cinemas on 22nd March 2013.
